Australia’s longest-running conference for OS X and iOS developers and designers kicks off in Melbourne next week, and two of our experts are on the speaker list.
Odecee Mobile Engineers Stephanie Sharp and Ashton Williams are part of a stellar line-up that includes speakers from Google, Sportsbet and Dropbox.
Steph will be presenting “Designing for animation is not as hard as you think”, a talk covering tips and best practices for adding animation to apps. To demonstrate how to use Keynote to design custom animations, Steph will be building a weather app prototype from scratch.
In his talk, “Designable and Inspectable Views in Interface Builder”, Ashton will demonstrate new techniques, solve potential problems and point out pitfalls. To put his words into action, he’ll be working through a few examples of how to make use of designable and inspectable views in Interface Builder.
/dev/world/2015 takes place over two days (Monday 31st August and Tuesday 1st September) at Melbourne’s RMIT University. Now in its eighth year, the conference aims to build an inclusive community of app developers. This year’s event boasts workshops, three world-class keynotes and 27 speaker sessions.
Congratulations to Steph and Ashton on being selected to speak; for those heading to the conference, look out for these two great sessions on Monday afternoon!Tags: /dev/world
